Should the film be released within this time frame, production should begin in the near future. star wars movies require a significant amount of special effects work in the background, and many big-budget movies have been delayed recently due to clogged VFX pipelines. Lucasfilm will have to pay attention to the post-production process if it wants Waititi’s film to hit the mark.
