Six films have been added to the European Film Awards 2022 film selections

– A total of 49 films will compete for the awards, after five fiction films and one documentary film join the previously announced selection of titles

After the previous announcement of 30 feature films and 13 documentary films (read news and news) that are part of the european film academy‘s 2022 Film Selection, six more titles have been added to the shortlist for the European Film Prize: five feature films and a documentary film. They were chosen by the European Film Academy Board – consulted by a wide range of invited European experts. The nominations for the European Film Awards will be revealed on November 8. The European Film Awards will be presented on December 10 in Reykjavík, Iceland, to recognize the greatest achievements in European cinema.
