Taapsee Pannu slams movie critics for positive reviews of The Tomorrow War over Haseen Dillruba


Taapsee Pannu star Haseen Dillruba released straight to a major streaming platform on July 2, skipping a theatrical release. Starring Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane, the film received mixed reviews from movie critics. In the midst of this, Taapsee Pannu tweeted about his film’s alleged criticism and the performance. Another movie that aired on Friday was “The Tomorrow War” directed by Chris Pratt. Taapsee tweeted in response to a movie reporter about how critics favor The Tomorrow War over Haseen Dillruba. She also spoke about Hollywood and said: “It’s always ambitious, no matter what the flaws”.

Taapsee Pannu, in one of the tweets in response to a Twitter user, mentioned that “Exactly! Additionally, they should review THE MOVIE and CHARACTERS, not personally criticize the people who play these characters, and evaluate and judge their career choices in a film review. Audiences have their own brains, let them decide what they like! A reporter had tweeted about Haseen Dillruba, mentioning that critics did not see merit in the original and provocative film but were struck by The Tomorrow War. Taapsee in response tweeted, “Sir Hollywood hai naa, sab chalta hai. It’s always ambitious, whatever the flaws. Yahan hum jitna marzi experiment kar le it is always insufficient and more so, we make them “redundant” no matter what we do. Maybe working in Los Angeles will help.

Taapsee Pannu has a long list of films in its lineup, including Shabaash Mithu, which is a Mithal Raj biopic. She plays the role of an athlete in Rashmi Rocket. Some of her other films, including Loop Lapeta and Dobaaraa, reunite her with Manmarziyaan director Anurag Kashyap, with Pavail Gulati.
