The producer of the Marathi film “Anand Gopali” Shareen Mantri Kedia “ecstatic” after two awards

After winning two national film awards for best film on other social issues and best production design, Shareen Mantri Kedia, one of the producers of the Marathi film “Anandi Gopal” is “ecstatic” about the awards for the film.

“We are delighted to receive two national film awards for ‘Anandi Gopal’. The response we have received on ‘Anandi Gopal’ from all over the world is overwhelming and we are happy to have given space for a story like hers to be heard and seen, ”she said.

‘Anandi Gopal’, with Bhagyashree Milind in the lead role, traces the journey of India’s first lady doctor and the man behind her, Gopalrao Joshi, played by Lalit Prabhakar.

“We are delighted to add two more awards to our package of ‘Anandi Gopal’ victories. Receiving two National Film Awards for the film is an honor and we are grateful for all the love we have received for this film, ”she added.

Meanwhile, Kedia has two upcoming Bollywood projects starring Yami Gautam and Kartik Aryan respectively, as well as a biopic on the late Phoolan Devi.

“We currently have back-to-back projects. While we finished filming LOST with Yami in August, we have an upcoming film with Kartik Aryan in collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala. We’re also excited to adapt Phoolan Devi’s story into a biopic. Next year promises to be exciting! she said.
