There are a few actors who don’t care much about what critics have to say about their movies and John Abraham is one of them. When promoting his films, he has mentioned many times that he makes films for his fans, and as long as his fans keep giving him love, he doesn’t care about film reviews and ratings.
During his recent one-on-one with Siddharth Kannan, John recalled being repeatedly written off by critics and said, “They keep writing me off after every movie. nothing wrong with that. It’s fine. My point is very simple, all these people who wrote me off today, probably half of them came to me to work as writers.”
He added that he didn’t blame them and made sure to help them as much as he could.
“They say ‘listen, we’re really sorry, we said what we had to do because we didn’t know you’. They have their own reasons, it can be unhappy marriages or they wake up unhappy. It’s okay. I understand. But now when they come to me for work, it’s nice,” said the

In the same interview John also talked about being a safe actor and expressed his wish to work with Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff and Varun Dhawan.
While sharing his take on actors eclipsing their co-stars, John said, “I think those days are over. Nobody cares. In fact, my goal as a producer is to collaborate with d other actors. I want Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Varun Dhawan to work with me. I want every actor to work with me. My thought process is different.
