Launch of the first annual Citrus Circuit film festival with top films

The 1st Annual Citrus Circuit Short Film Festival will announce and showcase 14 fantastic films when it premieres in downtown Miami this weekend.

The Citrus Circuit Short Film Festival will screen the films beginning at 6:25 p.m. on Saturday, September 3 at the SilverSpot Cinema, 300 SE 3rd St. Doors open at 6 p.m., giving attendees and filmmakers a chance to network before screenings begin.

The festival organizers received more than 70 entries from countries around the world. The staff has been working for nearly a year to create a platform for independent filmmakers around the world. Part of the team behind the festival includes the management of Bad Orange Entertainment.

“Making any movie is a difficult process that requires dedication and consistency. Not every project has the marketing team or the budget to achieve the level of exposure it deserves,” Hailey said. Miller, manager of the Citrus Circuit short film festival.

“Our true passion is film and our goal for Citrus Circuit is therefore to give high visibility to our selectees in order to increase their chances of networking for future projects and being selected for distribution or acquisition by larger entities of production,” said festival director Jonathan Gill. .
