Mike Tyson completes the dubbing of the film


Actor Vijay Deverakonda’s highly anticipated Bollywood debut ‘Liger’ gained further momentum when it was announced last year that American boxing legend Mike Tyson would also be making his film debut. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, “Liger” is funded by filmmaker Karan Johar and Jagannadh’s Puri Connects. and also stars actress Ananya Panday. The film will see Deverakonda playing the role of a boxer.

As is known, the sequences involving Tyson were filmed in the United States with Deverakonda and others participating in the program.

In a video uploaded to Dharma Productions’ social media pages, Tyson says, “Thank you so much for being nice to me. I really appreciate that.”

The film’s first look and teaser came out last year and created a lot of buzz. With Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Johar and Apoorva Mehta as co-producers, the film’s budget would be very high. The film is set to hit theaters in August this year.

Besides that, Deverakonda also recently announced her next project after ‘Liger’. The actor will collaborate again with Jagannadh, in a film titled “Jana Gana Mana” (JGM). The announcement was made last month (March) in a filmed fashion with Deverakonda landing at the site in a helicopter.
