Motion Content Group and The Film Critics Guild Announce 2021 Critics’ Choice Awards

Motion Content Group, the content investment, production and distribution business of GroupM, and The Film Critics Guild have announced the third annual Critics’ Choice Awards, these awards are unique as they are the only ones designed, curated and led by film critics and have become the nation’s most credible film and content awards.

The Film Critics Guild is a pan-Indian body of reviews across languages ​​and formats. The 2021 edition of the awards will carry on the legacy of last year’s awards, which were the first awards in the world to be held virtually before lockdowns were even part of our lives due to the COVID19 pandemic. .

This year, the Critics’ Choice Awards will recognize the content and performances of short films, web series and feature films produced and distributed in Indian languages. A true national award, nominees and winners will be the best in each category, regardless of content language.

Hosted by Neha Dhupia and stand-up comedian Sorabh Pant, the 2021 Critics’ Choice Awards will be peppered with artists and creators from across the country converging on the event hosted virtually and streamed on social platforms.

The virtual event will take place the 2nd week of February. Short film and series nominations were announced on January 12 and feature film nominations were announced on January 28.
