The Chicago Film Critics Association has unveiled its 2020 film awards, with nomadland winning five trophies including Best Film, Best Actress for Frances McDormand and a Director & Adapted Screenplay double for Chloé Zhao.
The late Chadwick Boseman won Best Actor for Ma Rainey’s black background, with the nod of the second male role to Paul Raci (The sound of metal) and supporting actress for Borat Next Movie escape Maria Bakalova.
Best Original Screenplay went to Eliza Hittman Never Rarely Sometimes Alwayswho also won the most promising performer award for Sidney Flanigan.
