Critics have spoken — again! The votes have been tallied and the Online Film Critics Society (OFCS) is delighted to announce the winners of its 25th annual film awards.
THE POWER OF THE DOG directed by Jane Campion, and currently streaming on Netflix, came the big winner, taking home a host of awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best Actress. in a supporting role. The OFCS is made up of nearly 300 film critics from around the world.
THE POWER OF THE DOG exclude DUNE – who were tied with nine nods, respectively, followed by eight nominations for WEST SIDE STORY. by Ryusuke Hamaguchi DRIVE MY CAR won Best Non-English Language Film, while THE MITCHELLS AGAINST. MACHINES won the prize for best animated film. Questlove’s SUMMER OF THE SOUL was Best Documentary Feature.
