One of the most anticipated large-scale Hindi movies of the year, period action movie Prithviraj is set to hit silver screens on June 3, Akshay Kumar tries out the title character of the legendary Indian king Prithviraj Chauhan.

Advance reservations
Prithviraj will hit theaters on June 3, 2022, in three Indian languages Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Advance bookings for the film opened on Sunday, May 29 five days before the film’s release and the film reportedly managed to sell around 17,000 tickets across three national chains through Thursday morning.
Akshay’s film sold less than half compared to Kartik’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which sold 45,000 tickets on Thursday morning.

Box office collection predictions
Previous trade analysts were of the opinion that Prithviraj could rake in around Rs 30-35 Cr on the first day considering the fact that the film was made on a massive scale. But with advance bookings showing the different story here, it now looks like they would accrue in the range of Rs 10.5-13 Cr on Day 1.
from Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath earlier had said the movie tax free in Uttar Pradesh and now the government of Madhyapradesh. tax-exempt the film, and other states are expected to follow suit. The tax exemption will definitely benefit Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s film and give a boost to the film’s collection.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is already running successfully at the box office and now trade pundits are bidding on Prithviraj which may continue the successful trend of Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
