Radhe Shyam Box Office Collection Day 11: Prabhas’ Film Holds Steady


Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s Radhe Shyam is showing a steady collection at the box office in its second week. The movie collection will see a drop when RRR hits theaters on March 25.

Radhe Shyam’s dream run of Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in theaters continues into its second week. The film’s worldwide box office collection remains stable and there will be an unbroken run until SS Rajamouli’s RRR is released in theaters on March 25. According to the makers, Radhe Shyam has made a business of Rs 400 crore with theatrical rights and theatrical release.


After multiple delays, Radhe Shyam was finally born on March 11. The film, which had been in the works for over two years, faced several delays due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. The film opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences.

The makers of Radhe Shyam, in a statement, revealed that the film is doing business of over Rs 400 crore. The film collected over Rs 200 crore worldwide via theatrical release and more than Rs 200 crore more through non-theatrical rights.

Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan took to Twitter and wrote, “#RadheShyam WW Box Office Week 1 – Rs 191.14 cr. Week 2 Day 1 – Rs 6.70 cr. Day 2 – Rs 6.93 cr Day 3 – Rs 7.15 cr. Total – Rs 211.92 cr (sic).”

Written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, Radhe Shyam is an epic romance saga starring Prabhaas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The film was made on a huge budget by UV Creations. Set in Europe in the 70s, the film is about the undying love between Prabhas’ Vikramaditya and Pooja’s Prerana. Bhagyashree, Sachin Khedekar, Jagapathi Babu and Jayaram played important roles.
