After capturing millions of hearts with her extraordinary performance in Soorarai Pottru, Southern star Suriya received an honorary mention as Best Actor for his film at the 68th National Awards ceremony today.
Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn also nabbed best actor for his role in the epic period drama Tanhajiwhich also featured Kajol in a central role.
The prestigious ceremony takes place at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. The prices were announced on July 22. Talking about other winners, Aparna Balamurali won Best Actress for her outstanding role in Soorai Pottru. Congratulations rain for the actors.
