Alongside Nivin, an extremely talented star cast including Indrajith Sukumaran, Poornima Indrajith, Joju George, Arjun Ashokan, Sudev Nair, Nimisha Sajayan, Darshana Rajendran and others make appearances in the trailer. Especially Indrajith and Joju, who are supposed to play characters from another era, look just plain powerful. Poornima appears in a never-before-seen avatar, while Nimisha’s character appears to belong to the same world as her character from

Malik
.

Thuramukham, which is scripted by Gopan Chidambaram, marks the return of Rajeev Ravi to the cinema after a very long hiatus. The film, which started filming in 2019, was delayed due to pandemic waves and budget issues. The period drama is expected to bring Nivin Pauly back to form, after a string of misfires.
